If you're like us, you tuned in to the season premiere of America's Next Top Model last night, after staunchly avoiding it for years, just to see André Leon Talley make his debut on the judging panel. "Hey Yall! Two minutes to my big debut next to Tyra Banks on America's Next Top Model. Allegra con Vivace! ALT," he tweeted last night. "So excited. We got it gwoin On! Right Now. On Tyra Banks America's Next Top Model, my cycle debut! Hurrah! Andre Leon Talley," he added shortly thereafter. But he wasn't on the episode!
"My utmost apologies to ALL! No one at ANTM bothered to tell me I was not on in the 90 min, special. Stay tuned to next Thursday for sure," he tweeted after it ended. Actually, he means Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST, which is the show's regularly scheduled time slot.
Anyway, we caught up with Talley not long before last night's ANTM premiere and talked everything from Anna Wintour's television-watching habits to riding elephants to the time he told Christina Hendricks her red-carpet style was bad.

Without naming names, J. Alexander makes no bones about his distaste for some of the "celebrity" fashion designers out there. The runway coach extraordinaire and 'America's Next Top Model' staple calls it an "insult" to the industry when novices with Hollywood clout try to play fashion designer without doing their homework (or at least getting a pro to work alongside them). J, a former model, recently parlayed his talents into the role of author with his new book 'Follow the Model: Miss J's Guide to Unleashing Presence, Poise and Power.' He recently chatted with PopEater to discuss fame, fashion and how he inspires girls of all sizes to feel fabulous.

Alright, I admit I have not posted in a while. So it really is not cool for me to go an do this but...
All I really want to do is post a couple links here of some bands I love and think everyone should at least check out :P
I promise I will post a real update about me soon!
This is a band I heard while I was in France. Well... they aren't really a band... They are actually two guys who star in a Rock Opera. I think all their songs are actually really cool and I love the 1800's France look they have going on. Not to mention that even if you don't understand french the songs as just darn catchy!
I really love this song in particular!
Now this is a band I have seen three times live now. The first time I wasn't so sure I would like them but I was proved wrong! It was during a contest and they actually took home 1st with $250000. This is not my fav song off the album (which is awesome, it's got confetti in it!) but it is the single they currently have going on the radio (It's being played on live 88.5) |

It's that time again!
"Be My Friend, Tyra!"
The 14th season begins in Los Angeles with 32 models vying for 13 spots. Their number is first cut to 20 and then to 12. The dozen ladies then travel to New York City and meet a 13th contestant before moving into a loft and undergoing makeovers. Perez Hilton appears.

| Whitney Thompson Visits University of Delaware |

So Whitney came to my school as a part of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. Sadly, I had lab and could not go to her talk but a friend of mine organized the whole thing so she got to spend some time with Whitney. She spoke about being a plus size model and after her talk went out to a bar with my friend.
My friend said she was very nice but a little diva-ish as she was afraid to get snow on her Jimmy Choos and was also afraid someone might spill a drink on her dress. But apparantly she loves being a plus size model and used to be a regular sized model but didn't like it (?). So anyway the consensus is that she is promoting healthy body image, semi diva-ish, but overall very sweet.

Apparantly she talks about three things: one, she was not advocating gluttony, two, she was not advocating obesity and three, she was not criticizing the naturally thin.
“Healthy is beautiful,” Thompson says. “It is not an age, not a procedure, not a size. It’s simply healthy.”
